Better late then never...
Christmas morning was so much fun this year. Carter was so excited this year that Santa ate the cookies. He made sure to tell everyone that he talked to. Both boys were excited about their presents. Santa usually brings the big presents that are already unwrapped, put together and sitting in front of the tree. This year he brought both boys these big wheels. They were both so excited!

Now we can get started early, on practicing for the Big Wheel Races... in September! (Watch out Pumpkin Festival friends!)

We were hardly able to get a picture of the boys on Christmas morning where they were not sitting on their new big wheels.

But we managed too...

Carter handed out the presents this year. He had a little trouble with the "To" and "From" part. If his name was on it, he opened it. He ended up opening one of my presents that he was very shocked to be getting...
(pink undies To: Mom /From: Robert, Carter and Collin)! He wasn't quite sure what to say.

Notice the backpack Collin is sporting in all the pictures... It was one of the first gifts he opened and he was so excited to have a "big boy backpack" (just like brother) that he didn't take it off for a better part of the morning.

We were able to spend all day at home! My parents came over before lunch and the boys got to show them all their gifts. Then the boys were able to get a nap before Robert's parents, grandparents and sister came over to open presents that night. What a great day!
Side note: I am a little bummed that I didn't get a picture of the tree with all the presents under it before they all started getting opened this year. I do it every year. I just think it's fun to look back and remember what they get on a certain year.
